At the heart of the kit is The Belt, a wearable compression band with a clip-in window for hands-free numbing and heating therapies. It also guides injection accuracy and fits securely with interchangeable Cooling and Heating Pads. Inclusive sizing is achieved with an extender, reflecting Dandi’s commitment to accessibility and care.
The clip-in Cooling Pad brings comfortable pre-injection numbing. The sleek, thinly designed clip-in Heating Pad offers a variety of heating therapies to alleviate post-injection and post-egg-retrieval discomfort, as well as a dedicated pocket to warm hormone medications prior to injection.
The Massage Ball is ergonomically designed to treat post-injection tenderness, while The Shot Target offers a non-toxic solution to guide accuracy of injections (replacing the old standard of drawing a “bullseye” on women' s skin with toxic markers).
The Heating Pad’s integrated thin, flexible heat technology employs flexible thermistors to conform snugly to the body. A cost-effective solution compared to more complex industrial-grade sensors, it offers precise temperature control while maintaining safe and consistent heating.
The product development process focused on cost and production efficiency by using existing technologies. Creating numerous handmade mock-ups to test our design thinking, we collaborated with textile partners to refine the product and to source durable, washable materials. Dandi's Kit utilizes advanced manufacturing techniques, including heat-bonded textiles and sonic welding, to ensure precision and enable automation.
