level featured in Fast Company

As the Industrial Design team behind Skylight Buddy, we're proud to be featured in Fast Company. Drawing on our firsthand experiences as parents, we created hardware that helps children build independence through everyday routines.

Every design detail was intentional, from the oversized yellow Action Button that invites interaction to the interchangeable silicone skins that make Buddy feel warm, approachable, and personal.

Buddy is part of a growing generation of kids tech that's designed to do less, not more. Instead of competing for children's attention, it supports healthy habits, routines, and family life through thoughtful, purpose-driven design.

At level, we believe great Industrial Design for kids balances safety, usability, durability, and delight. Successful kids products create intuitive experiences that build confidence, whether through physical interactions, visual feedback, or carefully considered form factors.

The rise of purpose-built devices like Skylight Buddy reflects a broader shift in product development toward creating meaningful kids products that solve real problems for families. It's an exciting direction for kids tech, and one we're proud to help shape through thoughtful Industrial Design.
